Today was another work day for Mom. My day starts at 5:30 am.

Matt and the kids did much the same as yesterday. They swam, went to the arcade, went on a hayrack ride, and did some rock climbing.

Matt took the kids to Russian River Brewery for lunch.

Cameron is our root beer fanatic, and this root beer just about put him over the top.

Matt was impressed by the very practical backside of their coasters.

All of the kids conquered the rock climbing wall.

Mom started work at 5:30am before anyone was up, and ended at 10:00pm when almost everyone was in bed. It was a very long day trying to tie up loose ends and leave things in a good place until next Wednesday when I would work again. At one point during the evening I had brought out our personal laptop in hopes of posting some blog posts...but that didn't happen. It just sat there.

I think the kids at one point grew tired of my long day as suddenly a paper airplane landed on my computer. It invited me to the arcade and on a walk. I took a break long enough to do both.

The kids watched another outdoor movie. This time it was Wreckit Ralph. And Matt enjoyed another great fire.

This was the end of our last full day in the San Francisco area. We had hoped to make it to Point Rayes, which was very close and part of the national park system, but alas, it was not meant to be.

Tomorrow we will head to Crescent City, by the coast where the redwoods stand tall. We are excited to compare these world's tallest trees to the largest trees (sequoias).
